Entrepreneurship and a focus on self-reliance have defined PRIDE Industries since our founding. In 1966, a group of parents met in the basement of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Auburn, California, determined to create employment opportunities for their adult children with disabilities. In our 45th year, we continue to evolve and develop new strategies to fulfill our mission: creating jobs for people with disabilities. Operating in 11 states and Washington, D.C. with more than 4,200 employees, including 2,400+ employees with a wide range of disabilities, our organization has grown beyond our founders’ imagination.

As 2012 draws to a close, we express our heartfelt thanks to those who partner with us and make our mission possible – our customers, employees, communities, supporters and friends. While much remains to be done, 2011 was a year of accomplishments, shared with you through the PRIDE Industries Annual Report, and the PRIDE Industries Foundation Annual Report.
